#AEOSTYLE: Distressed Skinnies

You know summer is flying by when you start partnering with brands to promote transitional and back-to-school outfits!  That’s right, we’re nearing the 1st of August and it’s already time to start thinking about getting back into some jeans again.  Lucky for all of us, American Eagle, one of my all-time favorite denim brands, has us and all the denim trends covered.

I am still obsessed with the distressed denim look but love that this wash is a little darker than my usual go-to pair; it makes them the perfect transition jeans into some cooler weather!  Another trend I just can’t live without?  90’s grunge is back and I just can’t get enough.  An easy way to incorporate this trend is to tie a flannel shirt around basically anything… jeans, shorts, dresses, skirts.  It gives a little edge while adding a pop of color and texture.  Make sure to check out the AEOStyle blog for more on my look and the rest of the back-to-school denim series!
