The “denim on denim” trend is a look I have loved for quite some time.  I did a similar post a few years back incorporating a chambray shirt and jeans and another more casual feel with an open chambray shirt and darker denim and have been hooked ever since.  I loved this Halogen denim shirt I found at Nordstrom and picked it up in a darker wash to match my denim skirt from last year.  I’m not even slightly exaggerating… this is the softest shirt I’ve ever owned and I will be heading back to pick it up in the lighter wash for warmer temps.  It’s amazing how long the chambray shirt craze has held on, so if you haven’t invested in one yet, now is the season to get on board.  I paired this look with my favorite spring accessories including this Chloé bag and d’orsay pumps for a chic contrast.
