One of my blog’s New Year’s Resolutions was to focus more content on beauty and feature the products that I love and cannot live without. I get asked about my favorite products by friends, family and you guys all the time so I decided to spend a bit more time on this aspect last year and they turned out to be some of my most popular posts! As a blogger, I’m very blessed to get to try a ton of different beauty products from big name brands, and luckily, most of them have made their way into my everyday beauty routine… something I’m calling “Everyday Glam.” I’ll be ramping up this series this year, focusing on everything from makeup, to hair and skincare, and whatever else you want me to focus on… I want to hear what you want to know!
First up… I’m showing you my makeup routine and the products that do not leave my cosmetic case. Like what you see? You can shop for these products by clicking on the pink + sign in the photo above or any of the links embedded within this post!
FOR THE FACE
I’ve always been an insane fanatic about anything bareMinerals and was VERY lucky to get to meet and work with them last February during NYFW where I got to try a TON of new products (and grab some old favorites). Honestly, this bareskin foundation has been life changing. At this time last year, I was using another foundation (which had amazing coverage) but ended up with a TON of acne and welcomed two new scars on my face… yay! I switched after being a part of the launch of this product and have never looked back. I seriously cannot recommend it enough. Another item that made me a believer and got me to switch from my long-time favorite was the prime-time face primer. I wear it under all of my foundation and even when I just need very light coverage. And, I’m still a fan of the pressed foundation that I’ve been using for over three years. I use it for the lighter makeup days or touch-ups. For my bronzer and blush, these two products are tried and true favorites. If either are discontinued, my world will go up in flames.
Lastly, for those days where I need a little help… this bareMinerals blemish remedy is great for covering and healing. And I swear by this Well Rested under eye brightener (for nights when I stay up way too late blogging and watching Friends re-runs) and creamy concealer. If it’s really bad… it’s nothing a pair of sunglasses can’t handle.
FOR THE EYES
I’m not a HUGE eye makeup person and tend to go lighter in this area. This eye shadow primer is great, you just need the smallest dab and it’s lasted me forever! I also love this eye shadow palette… filled with the basics and neutrals for when I’m feeling a more dramatic eye. I usually go with just brown (or black) eyeliner, and these Stila waterproof versions have been my go-tos for a few years now. Speaking of go-to, who doesn’t love They’re Real mascara? This stuff is famous for a reason. And lately? I’ve been all about brows. I can’t believe I ignored them for as long as I did, but I’m obsessed with Gimme Brow gel filler. Its build-able formula allows me to swipe on once for daily use and pile on for more dramatic brows.
FOR THE LIPS
I’m all about the lips normally and can usually be found with some sort of color on them… I swear I feel naked without any! These are my go-to shades for a year-round pop of color. I’m usually loving the matte lip and and when it just stays put, so these Stila shades in both Beso and Amore are my absolute favorites. For the summer (or any tropical vacation), I love shades with a hint of orange/coral for a bright pop. I’m also a self-proclaimed chapstick addict and EOS is my weakness. I have one in literally every corner of my life and every purse (in all different flavors) and I can’t get enough of them. For really dry winter lips (like right now, ugh)… I reach for my Vaseline lip therapy!
Make sure to stay tuned for the next Everyday Glam post coming up next week! I’ll be covering my favorite haircare products and tools to keep my strands hydrated all winter!

Great picks for everyday makeup, and I love the Stila Eyeliners as well, and you can’t go wrong with a NARS blush 🙂 I look forward to more beauty posts this year!

I swear by Benefit’s They’re Real mascara. It’s the only one I’ve found that doesn’t bother my eyes, I can even sleep in it!

I definitely like those beauty related posts. I’m always interested what beauty products other people use to get some inspiration 🙂
