Fall Floral Swing Dress

If this color combination doesn’t scream fall, I don’t know what does.  I’m giving a subtle shout out to my hometown colors (orange and black) with this floral swing dress and boucle vest (last seen on the blog here).  This dress is a tad more vibrant in person than it shows online but I love pushing my boundaries and challenging myself to make something work.  I’d highly suggest sizing up if you’re on the taller side to help with the length if you plan to wear it as a dress.  I went with a small and it wish it was a little longer in front but also plan to wear it as a tunic with leather leggings next!  I’d also suggest a little safety pin in front to avoid any unnecessary wardrobe malfunctions.  I didn’t have one here but luckily I did have Marissa there to tell me when I was flashing West Hartford my entire bra… hey, that’s what friends are for, am I right?
