I have to start off today’s post by stating that I’ve been looking for a pair of short black boots (a tad higher than ankle length) since last winter. With that said, I’m so excited to partner with Ariat and collaborate on a “Fall Style” post, and was even more excited when I laid eyes on these beautiful laser cut western boots. They are a perfect combination for me… chic with a touch of country, and I’ve been living in them non-stop since they arrived at my doorstep. A comfortable pair of boots is a non-negotiable for me during the cold months. They need to be practical, well-made and stylish. I paired these boots here with the most perfect shag cardigan, my favorite distressed denim, and wide-brim hat. Over the weekend, I wore them with a plaid shirt, even more distressed denim and favorite bag.

Years later, I’ve started wearing my “riding” boots as fashion boots, and constantly get compliments on them! I’d love to add another pair to give my current pair a much deserved retirement :). I’d probably wear a taller version with a great fall dress, or an ankle pair with distressed jeans. Love the look!
