We started off in San Francisco for a wedding (more outfit details to come tomorrow!) and headed down the coast to Santa Barbara where we currently are. The “August” weather in SF is definitely different than the New England sauna we’re used to. It didn’t get out of the 50’s the entire time we were there! I have to be the world’s worst packer… and this trip proved just that. I basically packed like I was going on a Mexican holiday. Wrong wrong, ALL wrong. Thankfully at the last minute before we left, I grabbed my buckle boots and this grey sweater, both semi recent purchases that I thought would take months to wear! San Fran is also full of shopping (yay!) so I was able to stop into H&M and pick up this jacket! I basically wore a combination of this outfit for 3 days!
It’s a little hard to tell, but these photos are in front of the Golden Gate Bridge… total tourist, I know! The fog usually didn’t lift until later in the afternoon but I can now check it off my bucket list! Make sure to follow along on Instagram for the rest of the week!

August 7, 2013 at 2:57 pmi made the mistake of packing for san francisco thinking it would be warmer since it was july (like 60s) but it was 40s-50s the whole time. i had to try to find a coat when i got there and it was oddly really hard to find.
