So, Nordstrom Rack is now officially my best friend. First, I scored these gorgeous Brian Atwood fringe booties at a FRACTION of what they retailed for last year when I first saw them on Rachel Bilson. They made their debut during my NYFW trip and are fast becoming my favorite pair… they are insanely comfortable, and did I mention they have fringe? I am only slightly obsessed. Next up… these Jimmy Choo cat-eye sunnies that I found on clearance for (drum roll, please) $44.95! Yup… under $50 when the retail for $300!
I’m a treasure, er, bargain-hunter at heart but I know MANY people who are literally scared to walk in to places like the Rack, TJ Maxx/Marshall’s, Century 21, etc. because they hate to “dig” to find deals. It’s totally worth it if you want to save some money! I’ve found items at Nordstrom Rack for 1/2 price that are also sitting at Nordstrom down the same street for full. Try to find out what day of the week inventory comes into your local store and haul-ass on that day… you’ll usually be in for a treat! Happy Friday!

September 28, 2012 at 4:57 pmYou got yourself a great bargain. People should keep in mind that the more they save, the more clothes you can buy! So I would have no problem digging through racks to find some amazing items at great prices.

September 29, 2012 at 6:51 pmFabulous outfit dear! I’m obsessed. Those fringe booties are perfection (I remember seeing them on Rachel Bilson as well), and your military-inspired jacket is a great fall piece. Also…as a somewhat poor college student, I’m all about the deals and I hit up Nordstrom Rack whenever I’m in a city with one!

September 29, 2012 at 9:37 pmOh my gosh lady, you look amazing! LOVE the military jacket and those fringe booties are killer! While I can’t bring myself to bargain hunt in the form of thrift stores and that type of thing, I am all over stores that sell new designer stuff for less! In Canada ours is called Winners, and it’s always worth the hunt! You look gorgeous!

October 1, 2012 at 4:53 pmI just fell down dead over those boots. I hope you can live with yourself. And also? I do NOT get those people who don’t like to shop at TJ Maxx or Marshalls (or worse, think it’s gross). Seriously, peeps? You WANT to pay a lot more for your stuff? Not this guy. Anyhoozle – that whole ensemble is pretty much autumnal perfection. Love it!

October 1, 2012 at 10:55 pmnordstrom rack in the source mall in LI is my favorite place in the WORLD, and i was BEYOND elated that the old virgin megastore is now the rack.honestly, they did have some cool brands there but a lot of it was picked over. i did find a few things to try on tho, but didn’t fit me. oh well. i DID get really cool nine west dress up/down sandals, so even tho i couldn’t find any clothes at NR (usually i have a cartload full) i didn’t leave empty handed.NR seriously is the best discount name brand shopping ever. with stuff from via C, savvy from this season, it cannnn’t be bad. 90% of my wardrobe is from the rack, and it is my favorite place to shop hands down.

October 3, 2012 at 4:53 pmwow that is awesome you found those booties at nordstrom rack!! I always have good luck at off fifth saks fifth avenue – they always have amazing deals plus extra coupons with their card. I think half the thrill of shopping is finding a good deal! I think I would get anxiety if I paid full price for a $1000 pair of shoes hahaha! the opposite of a shopping high 😉
