I personally love practical gifts (something I normally wouldn’t buy for myself) and I think cold-weather accessories are the perfect gifts to give during the holidays! I was able to cross off three names on my holiday shopping list (they are to remain nameless since they are probably reading this) by picking up a few items at Target! I made my life easy by starting with one basic accessory across all three people: SCARVES! Seriously. Who doesn’t love a good scarf?!
FOR THE TRENDSETTER
If you’re shopping for that lady in your life who always seems to be on trend, I’ve got a few ideas! Plaid oversized scarves are having such a moment right now, for the third year in a row! Not only are they so practical, but they also add a pop of color and texture to any outfit, and they can be worn both indoors and outdoors. I loved this blue-and-red plaid scarf I picked up at Target. I also picked up these faux fur–trimmed leather gloves that are touch-screen compatible! (I mean, what would you do without that feature?)
FOR THE SNOW BUNNY
One of the main challenges for me in the winter is trying to stay warm while remaining chic. Target has some amazing accessories that let you accomplish both! This knit infinity scarf is thick and super warm, but it still has a hint of glam with the gold metallic thread running through it! I also featured this cozy hat with a faux fur pom-pom and mittens on the blog in my last collaboration with Target, but I couldn’t resist picking up another set to gift a friend!
FOR THE GUYS
When there’s two feet of snow on the ground in a couple of weeks, what item do you think that guy in your life is going to want to reach for? This gray-and-black fringe scarf is stylish and generous in length, so it’s sure to fit any guy on your list! I’m also obsessed with the Signature Soy Collection candles at Target, and, I thought this Gingerbread House candle was the perfect scent for a certain someone! They also make great stocking stuffers!
