After a long, gorgeous week in Aruba, it’s back to the Connecticut cold! Raj and I traveled with some of our college friends and rented a house in Palm Beach, Aruba for some fun in much needed warmer weather. We had a blast and Aruba is now officially one of my favorite islands in the Caribbean. Here are some of my favorite moments…
{My favorite travel outfit: jeans, comfy boots and lots of layers}
{First day outfit for exploring the island. You can get this exact poncho from Tobi and the rest of the items below}
{Eagle Beach was probably the softest sand I’ve ever felt… hands down, my favorite beach of the trip}
{Some snapshots from our first two days including a beautiful view from our balcony and a few too many “Aruba-Riba” drinks}
{I packed light for this trip and carried on my luggage… so these One Teaspoon shorts were basically a part of every outfit. You can get the exact kimono I’m wearing here}
{This floral romper was a great day-to-night piece}
{The backdrops in Aruba are just unreal… I love this photo of the Pelican Pier against the gorgeous turquoise water. Hightlight of the trip? Renting our own jeeps and exploring the entire island over a 10-hour day}
{Vava by Joy Han is my absolute favorite designer to bring with me on any tropical vacation. This exact dress is sold out but there’s a very similar version below. I love the versatility of all of her pieces… you can wear them as beach cover ups right into nighttime}
{Some more snapshots that never made it to Instagram over the week… the best sunset of the week was at Baby Beach at the southeast part of the island}
{My favorite outfit of the week in yet again, another Vava by Joy Han dress… see, I told you I love her pieces}
{Another must-do recommendation of mine is the Jolly Pirate cruise where we spent the afternoon snorkeling, dancing on the boat and rope swinging into the water}
{For a more casual night out, I loved this boho tunic paired with my favorite jean shorts and gold lace-up sandals. You can shop the exact tunic here}
{My last outfit of the trip, a breezy maxi dress and leather flat sandals}

December 22, 2014 at 5:17 pmConsidering I’m in the CT cold reading this, I’m so jealous of this trip! (well, at least not as cold as this time last year) Looks like such an amazing week! That ocean water color is so swoon-worthy.
