Maxi dresses are always a good choice in my opinion! I love the print on this Ann Taylor one (and I should mention that you can get 50% right now)! I love how you can throw on a maxi dress and it looks like it took a lot of planning! They’re so easy and super comfortable for summer! {Exception: When you live in New England and out of nowhere it starts raining & thundering and your flip flops soak the back of your dress from running for dear life.} How many of us have experienced that horror?? Just sayin’.

July 12, 2013 at 2:42 pmI bought this dress when it came out and I love it! It’s the perfect summer staple. Just out of curiosity, did yours come with straps? Mine didn’t 🙁

July 14, 2013 at 9:41 pmFor a maxi to work it’s length must be tailored perfectly. As a result a maxi can only be worn with a narrow range of heels. But here, it’s been hemmed marvelously.
