Holiday Style | Sequins

I’m back with Macy’s talking Holiday Dresses once again!  Last time we showed you the importance of having that go-to Little Black Dress in your wardrobe, and this time we’re taking it up a notch with some glitz and glam.  Sequins are HUGE this time of year and definitely don’t have to be held until New Year’s Eve.  Macy’s has a huge selection of sequin dresses that can be worn to any holiday party and I’m styling two of my favorites today!

MIDI SHEATH DRESS

This Rachel Roy dress is the perfect mix of classy and edgy.  The sheath silhouette and longer hemline keep the look sophisticated, but the lower v-neck and thin straps give the dress a sexier feel.  I paired this dress with a cropped faux-fur coat and ankle-strap heels with a pop of leopard.  I’m also such a sucker for anything that has an unexpected back and love the banded details that show a hint of skin!

LONG SLEEVES

With a shorter length, I always think it’s important to cover up everything else to keep the look appropriate for any holiday party!  This Adrianna Papell long-sleeved sheath dress is how you can accomplish the full sequin look but still keep it classy.  I worked in my Valentino Rockstud pumps, a favorite holiday heel of mine, for a little edge, and my go-to Chanel purse.

Macy’s has so many holiday dresses this season, so it was hard to pick just a couple of favorites to style!  I also had my eye on this gold strapless beaded dress and metallic jacquard flare dress!
