I love the ladylike style of the Peplum trend. It’s actually been subtly around for the past few years, but you’re really seeing a statement this spring. The term peplum refers to a piece of clothing with a bit of ruffle around the waist which adds some volume in that area. A peplum piece can be a top, skirt, or dress and can take you from the office to a night on the town! Above are some of my favorite fashion bloggers rocking this trend. April 12, 2012 at 1:44 amI honestly was not a big fan – at all – until I saw Emily from Cupcakes & Cashmere then Kristina from Pretty Shiny Sparkle post about it within hours of each other! They really pull it off. I still don’t think it would be flattering on me but I definitely think some people can pull it off!
