Leather Accents

{Designer Jacket, Leather Pants & Scarf c/o T.J. Maxx}
As if my love for leather wasn’t strong enough, this week T.J. Maxx challenged me to put together a designer outfit incorporating leather accents… a HUGE trend for this season! I had scooped up these oxblood pants while shopping for my first post with T.J. Maxx a few weeks back. I actually already had a pair of coated oxblood jeans from last year, but COULD NOT resist this pair and ended up taking them home with me since the quality was amazing. They are real leather and I got them for a FRACTION of what they would have retailed for! I couldn’t pass them up and know I will get such good use out of them this season!
I also knew it was love at first sight when I saw this leather sleeved jacket! The quilted sleeves are SO IN right now and the khaki color body makes it perfect for autumn! I actually had someone ask if it was a vest or a jacket… love that the two-tone colors gave off that impression! This jacket will be perfect for colder months as well since it’s thin enough to go under an actual coat. I’m always thinking of how I can get the best bang for my buck! If I can’t think of a few ways to wear it right off the bat, it usually doesn’t come home with me. That’s my shopping motto!
It dawned on me that I barely ever wear my hair any other way but down on the blog… kind of boring. I try to wash my hair every few days to avoid damage and usually end up with it in some type of messy ponytail by the 3rd day. I picked up this wave and shine spray at T.J. Maxx which I have been misting in my hair to give it a more tousled look. It works PERFECT for a messy ponytail since it gives it some texture!

I’m so jealous you found those pants for a good price! I’ve been looking for a great pair of leather pants, though I will say I love the old navy coated jeans I just got! You really did put together the perfect fall outfit. I’m loving leather accents and the oxblood color really pops with all the neutrals and patterned scarf!
