Hard to believe it, but it’s my last challenge with T.J. Maxx (for this season!) and I’ve saved the best for last! If you follow me on Instagram, you might recognize this maxi cardi and the little story behind it. When shopping for my first T.J. Maxx post, I came across this gorgeous designer maxi cardigan and completely fell in love with it! I tried it on and snapped a pic (standard procedure when shopping now a-days) but left the store without it. Did I need it? Ehh, not really. So, trying to be a good shopper and only buy what I needed, I put it down. BIG MISTAKE. I thought about it and thought about it until I realized I needed to go back. The love for the sweater and sweet comments on my Instagram only furthered the true start of a panic attack. Luckily for me, this story has a happy ending. When I went back into the store, there it was… still waiting for me, in only one size, which happened to be mine.
Since then, I have been wearing it every chance I can. I have to admit, it is one of my favorite finds at T.J. Maxx to date… I could have spent triple the price for the same sweater if I had got it elsewhere! The quality is amazing and it’s the perfect transition sweater. What I love about this sweater trend is it hits two key trends for fall: the aztec print trend and the maxi cardigan trend! Talk about knocking it out of the park, right? For this beautiful fall day, I paired it with a white tee (also a designer score from T.J’s), some distressed denim and chunky boots.
And there I go with the red lip again. What can I say? It’s becoming a fast staple of mine! I picked up this matte red liquid lipstick in the beauty section of T.J. Maxx for my first post and it’s been a go-to ever since!
Expressing yourself through fashion, and knowing how to put together a great look—at great value, is what being a Maxxinista is all about. At T.J.Maxx you can score the unexpected to make your own personal style statement. Here’s to rockin’ your real deal.
