Mixing patterns and textures is one of my favorite things to do when outfit planning. I think sometimes the misconception is to shy away because it looks too busy or that there is a wrong way to do it, and I just don’t buy it. Here’s an example of mixing patterns, textures and the “oh-no-she-didn’t” blue and black combo. Despite all this outfit has going on, I think it works. The most important aspect of any outfit is to own it and never apologize. The cooler months can actually allow for multiple layers… so why not make it interesting?
Old Navy has been stepping up their game recently and I’ve been like a kid in a candy store every time I step inside. I’ll be keeping tabs on all their fabulous sales too… so make sure to check back here for the steals and deals. I have another dual outfit post with Old Navy on deck for next week!
