The weather in the North East was a little strange this weekend. Don’t get me wrong, it was a beautiful few days… but it felt more like early October, especially at night. I pulled out some Autumn favorites (a bit early) for our little “stay-cation” this weekend. It was (and is) the first weekend Raj and I had absolutely nothing planned, and it was nothing short of amazing! After a summer that was essentially non-stop, I’ve come to appreciate weekends where nothing is on the agenda.
This Club Monaco blouse is an old one of mine that I wear for work quite often. I checked back to see the last time it had made the blog and it was almost two years ago, right before my very first NYFW. The timing is funny considering another NYFW is just around the corner… man, time really flies. Since I’m also the biggest fan of distressed denim in any form, I invested in this Current/Elliot pair after getting plenty of use out of these American Eagle ones I wore all summer.
The next few weeks are going to be jam packed to wrap up the summer… anyone have any fun end-of-August plans? Happy Monday loves!

August 18, 2014 at 2:26 amLove this outfit, so stylish and cool. I need to get myself a hat for fall too.
I’m looking forward for the beginning of September as I’m going to have one week off from work and I’m going to the sea so hopefully the weather will not be too bad then 🙂
Hope you’re having a lovely week!

August 18, 2014 at 12:33 pmGreat look!! Those ripped jeans look great with the Rockstud heels 🙂 And I LOVE pairing hats with outfits too! Your big black hat reminds me of my black fedora that I am just now figuring out how to style…haha. Great combination of edgy and feminine, all around.
