There are a few trends that I started wearing almost immediately after starting this blog – and still continue to wear. Distressed denim is definitely one of them and the utility jacket is another.
I tend to pull out the utility jacket every spring and use it as a lightweight jacket through the fall season. You can see how I’ve styled it throughout the years HERE and HERE (which landed me in People StyleWatch magazine) and one of my all-time favorite blast from the past posts HERE. This new one from Sanctuary Clothing is the perfect transition jacket as we head for warmer weather! If it’s a little out of your price range, I love this one and this one for $40!
I’m also a huge fan of the minimalistic strappy heel, but it’s not always the most practical shoe to grab. I picked up a pair of these stacked heels last year from Banana Republic and Steve Madden makes an almost identical pair. I’m planning to wear them to a wedding in a few weeks (under a huge ball gown) since we’ll be on grass, but I love that they can help dress up an otherwise casual outfit.
This gorgeous white tassel crossbody bag is seriously one of my favorites I’ve ever owned and it’s currently 25% off – so, yes… you need it! I was saving it for some upcoming travel (to try to keep it white) but could not resist using it early… I am in love! And, speaking of SALE – make sure to check out the Shopbop Friends & Family Sale happening now through 4/7. I rounded up my favorite picks yesterday and already scooped up a gorgeous Mara Hoffman dress, which sold out! You can also scoop it up at Bloomingdales during their Friends & Family Sale as well!
