Target Trends: Metallics

Metallic is another HUGE trend this season, as seen on the runways at the Target Fashion Show! It’s the perfect time of year for a little sparkle, so why not add a little shimmer into your makeup routine for the holidays?  I’m always game to try new beauty trends, but with my skin and hair color, metallics can be a bit intimidating.  Being deathly afraid of anything silver or gunmetal, I wanted to try this trend playing around more in the copper and gold families.  I’ve never been a huge eyeshadow person so clinging to neutrals felt like my best bet!

I picked up a few beauty essentials at Target including this Sonia Kashuk eyeshadow palette and bronzer/blush combo.  A swipe of liquid eyeliner and a red lip, and we’re good to go!  I also made sure to grab some gold nail polish for all the upcoming holiday festivities!  What do you think of the metallic makeup trend?
