Now, I understand this trend isn’t for everyone, but I am obsessed with these jeans. Culottes have been making a name for themselves over the last few seasons and I gave them a try on the blog not too long ago. Although this pair is on the casual end of the spectrum, I would highly recommend a black or white pair, as you’ll probably get much more use out of them. This white pair (very similar to the ones I featured) is currently on sale for $10 (marked down from $80). They look gorgeous with a blouse and can be perfect for the office… oh, and did I mention they feel like you’re wearing pajamas?
Back to this pair. I jumped on the raw hem bandwagon a while ago… seriously, can jeans get anymore destroyed at this point?! HA! I had been looking all over for a pair of raw hem denim culottes and stumbled upon this pair at Express for under $70!
I had been wanting to style this crochet blouse (last seen here and here) on the blog again and loved the 70’s flare this outfit gave off. This blouse is definitely on the higher end of what I normally feature, but I’ve sure gotten my wear out of it. I found a very similar style here for a ton less and this one is pretty close as well! If you’re looking for something nearly identical, here’s another option (still kind of on the price-point higher side) but a little easier to swallow!
Another item of note here? These insanely comfortable mules from last summer that I featured on the blog here. I also gave the trend a try all the way back in 2014 with a similar style! These are a boho lovers dream but if you’re looking for something with a little more structure, this pair from Steve Madden should do the trick. Plus, they also come in a ton of other colors! If you’re loving this look, this Steve Madden pair is very similar as well… they pair great with a floral dress or cutoffs and are a great casual shoe when you still want a little height. These J. Crew ones are under $70 and the most similar to what I’m wearing above!
And one more thing. I teased some of you on Snapchat with this, but you know that day-three hair that you just want off your neck? It’s been way tougher with my LOB haircut and I’ve been searching for easy ways to throw my hair up when it’s just done before the next wash. I used to be a huge top knot fan, but now my shorter layers don’t make it up there! I totally impulse-bought this little tool to help get the perfect bun and have been using it a TON! I’m working on a quick Snapchat tutorial on how it works so make sure to follow me so you don’t miss it! How cool is this thing!?
