12 Spring Outfits

Lauren Conrad Style Challenge

A couple of weeks ago, I was told I made it into the top three of the Lauren Conrad & Kohl’s blogger contest and I couldn’t have been more excited!  For the style challenges, the bloggers were all sent the same nine pieces of clothing from the LC Lauren Conrad Collection, and asked to shoot 2 different outfits using 3 of the pieces (and pieces from your own wardrobe).  I immediately went into mode “CRAZY” trying to pair outfits together! To say our bedroom looked like a tornado went through it would be an understatement.  After much deliberation (and help from the wonderful BF) I decided on the hi-low skirt, the floral tank top, and the brown platform sandals.

For the first look, we needed to use the 3 pieces selected to create a look for a “day of sightseeing.” I used my favorite jean jacket to help make the look more casual and comfortable for a day outside. These sandals are actually extremely comfortable, despite being quite high, and I love the color! They go with basically everything in my closet!

For my second look, we were to create another outfit for a “romantic dinner date.” The trick being… we needed to use the SAME THREE PIECES of clothing used in the first look.

Well… how did I do? Head over to LaurenConrad.com to vote for me! The top 2 bloggers will compete in yet ANOTHER style challenge next week! Thank you to all who have voted, your ongoing support has meant the world to me! I am so proud of what I have accomplished since the blog started a little over 6 months ago. DREAM BIG! Much love!

xoxo, Christina
