Re-Boot

This cooler weather can only mean one thing… time to get your boot in gear!  I’ve rounded up some of the season’s hottest trends at all different price points for you!

The chunky heel is all the rage this season and for good reason… who doesn’t like comfortable and chic shoes all in one? I’m all about statement pieces so these leopard booties are just too fun not to love!  They would look adorable with a pair of distressed denim or even with a pair of black tights!  Looking for something in suede?  I love these Jeffrey Campbell booties and the color of this Madewell pair.  I’m also looking for a pair of booties that I can tuck my jeans into when the temps really drop and had my eye on both this red pair and this darker brown pair… until I spotted this pair for under $40!  And that metallic heel… say what?!

My OTK boot game is setting up to be pretty strong this season.  I can’t. stop. wearing. them!  The Steve Madden ‘Gorgeous’ boots are every girl’s sane answer to sporting the over-the-knee trend (I splurged on the real version earlier this season). These Joie pair also come in a few colors and look to be more on the dressy side.  Perfect for pairing under a pencil skirt for all the upcoming holiday parties!  I’ve also lived in my 5050 boots the last two years (both in black and brown).  If you love that look but hate the price tag, I found a few similar styles here and here!  I’ve also heard great things for those looking for boot with a skinny calf, these come in several colors!

I’m always down for a little moto or combat boot to edge out an outfit.  Remember the time I couldn’t care less and wore them to NYFW?  These Vince Camuto beauties are the perfect toned down version of the trend and I love those gold buckles!  They also come in a very similar tall version.  These Steve Madden ‘Troopa’ combat boots have been around for years in multiple colors and are currently on sale for around $80 (I have them in brown and love them)!  These Frye pair are a little more western if that’s your thing and lastly, these Simply Vera by Vera Wang boots are on sale for around $50, come in two colors and have a little rhinestone love to bring out your inner rockstar.

Now onto one of my favorite year-round trends, FRINGE!  It’s been all over boots in all shapes and sizes this season and brings a little boho to any outfit.  These wine colored booties are beyond gorgeous and perfect for the holiday season!  I saw these Rebecca Minkoff suede pair come down the runway with my own eyes and legitimately almost jumped out of my seat.  Since the price tag is steep, Steve Madden is here again to the rescue!  I’m all about adding a little fringe to booties and love these, these and these all at great price points!

And now to be practical, cold-weather boots!  I’ve invested my money into a few of these over the last few years and continue to bring them out year after year! The Sorel Joan of Arc boots sell out every year when it starts snowing, so make sure to get them early if you think you’ll want them this season!  I also just scooped up this pair of Sperry Duck Boots for hopefully a more mild winter (positive thinking can do wonders).

For fall rainy weather, these Hunter boots are the way to go and there’s a SECRET I’ve been sharing across social media… you can currently get a pair for yourself (in select colors) for around $80!  Costco is currently selling them at this price and Nordstrom is price matching, but you have to use the Live Chat feature to get the rate!  It’s worked for multiple people so I suggest you finally get a pair for yourself or get a start on holiday shopping!
