Colorblock Cardigan, Cowl Neck Tunic & Leggings: Target c/o
Sneakers || Sunglasses || Tote
January is such an amazing month because it gives everyone a chance to hit that reset button. I know I’ve been doing my best to stick to a schedule this year and get myself more into a healthy routine overall. This year seems to be the year that everyone wants to make everything easier on themselves, both in life and style. The trends overall seem to be heading in the direction of no fuss, and I think everyone agrees how much of a relief that is.
With mile-long to-do lists and everyone trying to squeeze in “me time” to try to be healthy in the New Year, it can be a challenge to fit it all in. You’re out running errands and trying to make it to that hot yoga class before they shut the door in your face to turn on the heat.… Has that happened to anyone else?!
I’ll be the first to admit, I’m one of those people who needs to feel put together to leave the house. I absolutely hate going out in anything that can be considered sweats or workout gear, except going to the gym and back. Enter athleisure. Seriously, whoever invented the athleisure trend needs a serious hug. It’s the perfect blend of athletic wear and straight-up comfort that lets you look practical while also looking stylish. Target has an incredible line of athleisure styles, and I styled three of my favorite versatile pieces from the current collection, including this leisure tunic, color-block cardigan and moto leggings.
What I love most about this trend and these pieces from Target is how they really can be transitioned (and even dressed up if needed). You could seriously throw a pair of riding boots on with either outfit and still look put together. A few other athleisure pieces that I had my eye on this season are this open-back tunic and urban leggings.
You can get more styling ideas, inspiration and, most of all, real solutions this season by watching the “How Do You Do, Target Style” series on Target’s YouTube channel.
