{Jacket: H&M || Tee: James Perse || Printed Shorts: c/o Ali & Kris (old, last seen here) || Espadrilles: Tory Burch || Bag: Celine || Sunglasses: Ray Ban || Tassel Necklace: c/o Stella & Dot || Watch: c/o Sperry Top-Sider || Bracelets: c/o Stella & Dot (Eden, Arrow, Renegade)}
I have been living in these Tory Burch espadrilles since I bought them two weeks ago. I had been looking for espadrilles for a couple of months, I was so excited when I saw these at Nordstrom and knew they were exactly what I was looking for. I’ve already worn them casually with jeans and shorts and a bit more dressed up with a dress and out for brunch. If you do end up picking these up, make sure you order a half size down if you’re in between sizes (they only come in full sizes) since they stretch a lot.
On another note, I made a small (yet very big change) to Oh So Glam this past week. I officially formed a LLC. After chatting with Kristin of Living in Color Print during New York Fashion Week, I decided this was something I desperately needed and honestly felt this was the smart thing to do since blogging is not only a fun hobby, but a part-time job. I worked with Kristin and The Company Corporation who advised me on the benefits and next steps I would need to take. For all you other bloggers out there questioning the same things I did, here were the main benefits of forming an Oh So Glam LLC:
Additional Credibility: It presents you AND your blog as organized and professional. Blogging has fortunately become not only a hobby, but a source of income. I knew it was time to have a separate EIN (a social security number for businesses) and take Oh So Glam to the next level.
Tax Savings: Filing as a LLC gives you the potential to receive tax breaks on income made each year through what the government calls ‘flow-through taxation.’
Protection of Personal Assets: Forming a legal entity, such as a LLC, around your blog adds an additional layer of protection and separates your personal assets from your business.
Less Risk of an Audit: Individuals who file their taxes as a LLC, compared to an individual/sole proprietor and 10x less likely to be audited: according to the Wall Street Journal.
If you’re a blogger and feeling like this is the next step, my blogger BFF Kristin can get this going for you in all 50 states. You can contact her at Kristin.Clark@Incorporate.com and let her know you were sent from my blog. She can get you up and running properly and in a timely fashion. And don’t worry, she’ll answer your questions (she answered about a million of mine).

May 21, 2013 at 9:22 amOh my goodness gracious…I adore that necklace. It’s so different and could go with so many outfits! And is there a similar bag somewhere? I am seeing a bunch of them in that style but only from high end retailers…do you think I could find it anywhere for under $100?
