As I mentioned earlier this week, I’m back with my annual GLAM Gift Guide series and rounding up some of my favorite gifts for that beauty lover in your life! I think beauty sets are some of the best gifts to receive and give — and there are so many good deals this time of year! All of these item are vetted by yours truly!
La Mer Skin Set – I mentioned this set earlier this week but it’s just too good not to mention again! The La Mer Soft Cream and Foaming Face Cleanser have changed the look and texture of my skin over the last 6 months. About a year ago, I started paying attention to what my skin was actually begging for – moisture, and started using hydrating cleansers and thick moisturizing creams and I swear, I felt like a new human. After ditching the “acne cleansers” and “oil free cleansers” I rarely had a breakout, my skin felt hydrated for hours (even in the winter and when traveling), I had less fine lines and visable pores, and my foundation went better without a primer. Over the summer, I decided to take it up a notch and splurge on the La Mer face cream (I use the Soft Cream which is a little less heavy than the traditional Creme De La Mer) and Foaming Face Cleanser and oh em geeeee. Everything I mention above? Triple that feeling. Although pricey, I can’t stress this enough – it’s your skin. If I can spend that money on a pair of boots or a hotel for one night, I can definitely spend it on my face… that’s the way I’ve been looking at it!
La Mer Foundation – No, this isn’t sponsored by La Mer… although, Hiii LA MER if you’re reading! 😉 This is fairly new to my makeup bag and to the La Mer line, but after getting hooked on it after getting a sample from Blue Mercury, I knew I had to splurge. It’s everything from the skin care line wrapped up in makeup. Ahhh-mazing.
Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery – This stuff is like a miracle in a bottle. Again, realizing that oil is not the enemy, I started using this before bed about two years ago and I’m juuuust about at the end of the bottle. My face sucks up all the goodness overnight and my skin feels refreshed the next morning. Plus, the lavender smell is so comforting at bedtime!
Best of Naked Palette – I can’t believe this wasn’t out sooner! This palette just has all the most popular shades from the infamous Naked Palette in matte versions!
Chanel N5 – I had this on my GLAM Gift Guide earlier this week too because it’s just that pretty of a scent. And it never hurts when the bottle looks just as pretty on a vanity!
Artis Brush Set – I only own one of these, but I would LOOOVE the entire set so I’m including it! I love that this edition is white and gold too, so GLAM!
T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i – This is the hair dryer I’m currently using and loving! It dries my hair fast and is nice and quiet when doing so! It even comes with a matching blow out brush!
T3 Featherweight Folding Hair Dryer – This is the mini version of my hair dryer in pink! I have the white and rose gold version and bring it everywhere I can! I love having my own hair dryer when traveling and have learned my lesson not to rely on hotels having the best (frizz city). This one is so lightweight and folds up small to fit into your luggage!
T3 Whirl Convertible Tapered Barrel – This is what I’ve been using to get beachy looking waves the last few months (a new tutorial will be coming soon, I promise). I’m all about imperfect waves of all different sizes, so although using it was a bit of a learning curve, I love it!

Rose Gold Tool Kit – I love getting this kind of stuff for stocking stuffers because when do you actually buy it for yourself? Plus, rose gold will ensure your guy won’t steal your nail clippers! Aheemmm. Just saying.
