If you guys missed on Instagram, I got back from a little girls getaway to New Orleans for my best friend Kelly’s Bachelorette party! NOLA was a blast and we took total advantage of the weekend and packed in a lot of fun activities while in the warm weather!
{My airport attire for the weekend. I always try to carry on, especially for quick weekend trips or for trips that are only a few days. I always travel in layers and mostly always in this leather jacket. A pair of ripped denim always doubles as backup in case it gets cold. I usually like to travel in my espadrilles but since I left with snow on the ground, I had no choice but to wear my favorite boots. I also always wear my hat so I don’t have to shove it into a suitcase!}
—————————————————————————————
{Exploring the French Quarter our first day in NOLA! I couldn’t get over how gorgeous all of the buildings were. I mean, come on! A pink building with shutters and a rod iron balcony… does it get any cuter?}
—————————————————————————————
{A must do in New Orleans is beignets, beignets and more beignets! I’m normally not a sweet person by any means, but I was determined to give these a try. The verdict? They did not disappoint! I was told Café du Monde‘ and Café Beignet had the best ones, so we gave them both a try! Also on the list… a frozen latte! Sign me up!}

{Printed pants are always packed in my suitcase for any type of tropical vacation. I love the fit and print on these pair and wore them for a ride down the Mississippi River on the steamboat! I packed this military jacket in case there was any wind and ended up leaving it off to just bake in the sun.}
—————————————————————————————
{The adorable little indoor/outdoor cafes in the French Quarter were one of my favorite parts of the city. I’m also on the hunt for these adorable heart shaped chairs!}
—————————————————————————————
{Since I’m normally in neutrals, pairing color on color was a bit of a stretch for me, but when in NOLA! This Rory Beca dress is to die for (and comes in a bunch of other colors and similar styles). I wore this for a night out to celebrate the bride-to-be with po’ boy sandwiches and champagne! Classy girls!}
—————————————————————————————
{We brunched on this adorable patio at The Court of Two Sisters while a live jazz band played in the background. The food was delicious (try the peel and eat shrimp and crawfish and eggs benedict) and the place couldn’t have been any prettier!}
—————————————————————————————
{Had to break out these adorable tassel bracelets from Gold & Grey for a pop of color!}
—————————————————————————————
{Loved this lightweight shift dress and nude accessories for brunch at Stanley’s! I ordered the Breaux Bridge Benedict with housemade boudin (oh my god, so yummy). The spices and flavors made all of the food we ate so different and memorable!}
—————————————————————————————
{Exploring more of the French Quarter! I found beauty in everything we walked by and had to keep stopping to take pictures!}
—————————————————————————————
{I teamed up with Bluefly to take over their Instagram account over the weekend and featured this head-to-toe look in this beaded dress, sandals and Fendi turquoise bag!}
—————————————————————————————
{Took a ride through the Garden District to get to Magazine Street for some shopping! The houses were gorgeous one after another and looked like a movie set! We didn’t have a chance to, but we received a recommendation to take a trolley ride around this area and totally wish we had more time!}
—————————————————————————————
{My look for an afternoon shopping on Magazine Street! The stores were great and there were so many boutiques to pop in and out of!}
—————————————————————————————
{We stayed at the Hotel Monteleone right in the French Quarter if you’re looking for a place to stay! The famous Carousel Bar (with an actual old carousel) was such a fun time and had great live music!}
—————————————————————————————
{My last casual look for walking around getting more coffee and beignets once again! These espadrilles were a purchase right before my trip and I know I’ll be living in them one it warms up back home!}
