Hair is kind of a big deal to me. When it’s not done or a big old mess, I don’t feel complete. Anyone else feel that way? When Dove asked me to review the Daily Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner, I jumped at the chance. I love trying new products and am willing to give anything a go! When my hair is feeling boring and a little lifeless, sometimes the best thing to do is switch up your routine and try a new product!
I’m already a huge fan of Dove (I’ve been using the body wash for years). I loved that the smell of the shampoo and conditioner isn’t too overly girlie, so really anyone can use it! It smells fresh and clean… nothing else needed! What I loved most about these products was that a little goes a long way. Since my hair is fine, I did not need to use a lot of either. If you have fine hair like me, using too much product will completely weigh down your hair. Loss of volume = loss of GLAM. I only used a dime size amount of shampoo and a quarter size of conditioner. A trick I learned a while back is to only condition your hair from the ears down. If I use any conditioner on my roots, it becomes greasy immediately. By only doing the ears down, my roots stay nice and clean and I go a few extra days in between washes… which means less blowdrying and less damage. Yay!

September 27, 2013 at 5:00 pmI tried this shampoo and conditioner combo and it was so bad on the skin on my back it dried it out it was horrible, they smell great and my hair felt great but the allergic reaction unfortunately I had to stop using it.
