Michael Stars Off-The-Shoulder Top c/o
similar Lace-Up Flats (also here and here)
Free People Denim
A much more casual look here (as opposed to yesterday’s dressed up style). This is casual weekend style done right for me and I was able to pull out my favorite lace-up flats that I wore all spring and summer last year to go with this off-the-shoulder top… two trends I’m still loving this season!
The off-the-shoulder trend has been a favorite of mine season after season and it’s back again this year! It’s one of the most flattering necklines and the perfect way to show off a little skin. You can see how I’ve styled this trend with other blouses and dresses on the blog here, here and here, and I’m sure I’ll be showing off plenty more from here on out. This off-the-shoulder top is actually reversible and comes in black as well!
I’m also going to be wearing these lace-up flats a ton this spring again and was so happy to see this trend around again this season. I picked up on it early last year and styled them with some distressed denim here and a cute, printed romper here. If you didn’t scoop up a pair last year, make sure you get your hands on them this time! The price point has come down so much on them since last summer and you can find them now for as low as $22! Mine are from Topshop last year and will be keeping my eyes peeled if they come back in stock for you! I’m always a sucker for anything Steve Madden when it comes to trends and there is currently a pair for around $75 and rumor has it, they are pretty comfy! PS. They come in about every color possible now… but I’ve gotten so much use out of my black and nude pair!
Also, new and noteworthy? I picked up these round gold sunglasses during one of the early sales this season and love that they help switch things up! What do you think?!
