Olive Shirt: Target c/o || similar Midi Shorts
Gladiator Sandals: Stuart Weitzman via Walin & Wolff (exact here, similar here)
Panama Hat || Fringe Bag || Sunglasses || Bangles
As we near into August, it’s time to stop the summer shopping and start focusing on pieces that can carry into the fall season! A huge trend (once again) this upcoming season is olive, and what a great transition trend it is! I picked up this blouse from Target a few weeks ago and paired it with some of my summer staples including my trusty panama hat, a pair of white midi shorts, fringe bag, and tall gladiator sandals. About mid-way through July, I always start making choices when purchasing clothing items to make sure I can get the best use out of them in the coming months. This three-quarter length sleeve blouse is perfect for cool(er) summer nights and the perfect layering piece for the transitional months. Olive is one of those colors that looks great with just about any other neutral (think: dark denim, light denim, black, tan, white, grey) but I decided to keep it light and pair it with this pair of white midi shorts to help keep the look summer appropriate!
Another way to jump on the olive bandwagon is to invest in an outerwear piece which will allow much more repeated use to get you the most bang for your buck! I’ve been a fan of the cargo jacket for years (even before I started Oh So Glam) and have also added a cargo vest to my wardrobe as well as plenty of cargo pants over the last few years. The trend seems to be endless and it’s safe to assume it’s not going anywhere! I promise, you won’t be able to stop wearing it!
