Last week we talked about breaking the rules a bit with Lilly Pulitzer and we’re back again this week breaking two more: White After Labor Day and Gold During the Day! While I love Lilly for her classic prints, I love her even more for her unexpected pieces and this white swing dress with gold detailing had my name all over it!  While the shimmer details normally scream nighttime, I worked this dress into a more casual daytime outfit with my go-to lace-up sandals and panama hat.

You probably saw that Raj and I headed out to The Hamptons for Labor Day Weekend with some friends and had to pull over on one of the back roads when we spotted this gorgeous sunflower field!  While I’m sad to see summer go (this had to be the best one so far), I am looking forward to some cooler temps and breaking out the fall gear!
