Trend Edit: Chain Belts

Just another throwback accessory I’m loving at the moment: the chain belt.  It actually made a comeback quite a bit ago and I’ve been coveting one for months and months.  I originally had my eye on a vintage Chanel chain belt (#swoon) but just couldn’t bring myself to spend the money on such a trendy piece.  I was excited to find this extremely affordable style that gives off the same vibe and that is adjustable to be able to wear a number of different ways!

Here are a few ways I plan to style it:

Over a dress.  The easiest way to take a plain dress to the next level.  This works best on slinky slip dresses in any length, but could also be used to cinch a more flowy style.

Over a swimsuit.  I absolutely love this look and get such fun European beach club vibes!  Accessorizing swim has become so huge and this is just one easy way to do it.

Over a blazer.  SO FREAKING CHIC, this is 100% happening this fall.  Stick with a plain blazer to be able to make the belt pop!

Over a sweater. Could be an oversized sweater or even a chunky sweater dress.
